Janet Gibson, 60, of Franklin, NC, passed away on Friday, October 6, 2006.

A native of Lynchburg, VA, she was the daughter of Virginia White. She was a member of Iotla Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Wade Gibson; one daughter, JoAnn Woodall of Franklin; one brother, Larry Batton of Charlottesville, VA; two grandchildren, Travis Woodall and Carmen Woodall; one great grandchild, Kaylie Woodall; lifelong friend, Kelly Higdon; sisters-in-law, Dale Sisti, Gale Thomas, and Glenda Hughes; brother-in-law, Judson Gibson; mother-in-law, Lesa Gibson; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, October 9, in the Iotla Baptist Church. Rev. Steve Reeves and Rev. Ernie Jamison will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Sunday, October 8, at Macon Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Travis Woodall, Jason Crump, Joe Sisti, Jay Hooper, Chris Hughes and Fred McConnell.
