James Nelson, 69, of Franklin passed away Wednesday, January 9, 2019.
Born in Michigan City, IN, he was the son of the late Ray Nelson and Anne Wilberg Hess. Jim enjoyed spending his days with his 3 fur-babies, Dixie, Roxie, and Izzy. They were a joy for him during his illness.
He is survived by his wife, Tamera Williamson Nelson of Franklin; daughters, Teresa Dillaway of La Porte, IN, Sandy Oviatt of La Porte, IN, Corey Nelson Layton of Seymour, IN, and Katie Nelson of Gainesville, FL; step-son, Joe Luttrell of Winder, GA; step-daughter, Coty Luttrell of Gainesville, GA; twelve grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren.
No services are planned.
