James Hardy Ledford, 65, of Franklin, passed away Sunday, March 14, 2010.

Born in Chester, PA, he was the son of the late Virgil P. Ledford and Margie Justus Ledford. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his infant daughter, Patricia Ann Ledford. James was an auto mechanic; an avid outdoorsman and loved to fish, garden, hunt and camp. He enjoyed working on cars and was a Nascar fan. He was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Clayton, GA.

He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Ann Ledford; two daughters, Tammy Keezer and husband Charles Motley of Franklin and Julia Quinci and husband Scott of Weaverville, NC; a sister, Justine Kelley of McDonough, GA; best friend, Larry Cannon of Clayton; granddaughter, Zee Keezer and several nieces and nephews and extended family.

A private celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
