James (Jim) Freeman Kelley, Sr., 76, of Otto, NC, passed away on November 30, 2010. His loving wife of 57 years, Arlene, was by his side as she has always been.
Born in Whigham, GA, Jim grew up in the Tampa, FL area. He retired from Anheuser-Busch in Jacksonville, FL as an Asst. Brew master after 34 years of service. Jim loved auto racing, Florida State football and the North Carolina mountains, but most of all he loved his family.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph M. Kelley and Ollie Mae Hall.
He is survived by his wife, Arlene; children, Diane Kelley (Kathy), Debbie Kelley, James (Jimmy) Kelley, Jr., Austin Kelley (Audrey), Dwayne (Tater) Kelley (Rhonda); grandchildren, Jamie, Brooke, Candace and Alex; great grandchild, Nautica; sisters, Elaine Eckler, Joyce Niles (Andy) and Patricia Bailey (Dean).
Funeral Service will be held at 2 pm Saturday, December 4, at the Resurrection Lutheran Church. Pastor John Brunner will officiate.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday, December 3, at Macon Funeral Home.
