Obituary
James Edward Davenport Jr., 60, of Franklin, passed away Thursday, February 10, 2011.
Born in Hackensack, NJ, he was the son of Victoria Carey Davenport and the late James Edward Davenport Sr. Mr. Davenport loved to spend time with his family. He loved his motorcycle and owned his own moving and storage business, which he enjoyed very much. He was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church.
In addition to his mother, Victoria C. Davenport, he is survived by his wife of 28 years, Marie Mascher Davenport; a son, Jim Davenport and two daughters, Kelly Davenport and Amanda Davenport all of Franklin; a sister, Patricia Johnson of Boca Raton, FL and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 12 at St. Francis Catholic Church. Father Tien Duong will officiate.
The family will receive friends from 9:30-10:30 a.m. before the service at Macon Funeral Home.
Memorial donations can be made to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 1648, Franklin, NC 28744.
