James Robert Frady, 76, of Franklin, passed away Friday, March 9, 2012.
Born in Macon Co, he was the son of the late Robert William Frady and Rena Birdell Saunders Frady. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, James Robert Frady Jr. and daughter, Debra Christoff. James was a US Air Force veteran and served during the Korean conflict. He worked as a construction supervisor for Northern Virginia Electric for 35 years. He was a member of the Moose Lodge and was a Mason in Manassas, VA. He volunteered with CareNet and was a member of Coweeta Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Debra Miller Frady; three children, Linda of Gainesville, VA; Brenda of Amosville, VA and Lisa of Gainesville, VA; four sisters, Josephine Dayton, Mattie Wilson and Linda Brown all of Lawrenceville, GA and Wanda Farmer of Franklin; brother, Frank Frady of Lawrenceville, GA; four grandchildren, Chester, Lauren, Ryan and Jessica and one great grandson.
Graveside Service was held at 11:30 a.m. Monday, March 12 at Sugarfork Baptist Church Cemetery with military rites conducted by VFW Post 7339 and American Legion Post 108. Rev. Davis Hooper officiated.
