Obituary

James Ralph Cook, 75, of Walhalla, SC, passed away on Saturday, December 9, 2017.

Born in Macon Co, NC, he was the son of the late Lon and Rachel Ammons Cook. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters, Pearl Cook, Ellen Marie Landing and Jessielee Sprinkle.
He is survived by three children, Regina Campbell and husband Ronny of Seneca, SC, Dwight Cook and wife Susan of Westminster, SC and Daniel Cook and wife Stephanie of Walhalla, SC; seven brothers and sisters, John Cook of Franklin, Violet Pannell of Franklin, Eugene Cook of Mountain City, TN, Betty Dodgins of Mt. Airy, GA, Grady Richard Cook of Franklin, Otis Cook of Franklin and Sharon Cook of Franklin; thirteen grandchildren, Leslie Anne Pearson, Amanda Beth Chambers, Marshall Dillion Cockman, Cameron Mullikin, Seth Mullikin, Justin Mullikin, Chris Mullikin, Alex Mullikin, Sierra Roundy, Reese Roundy, Katrice Campbell, Ronnie Campbell and Knox Campbell; six great grandchildren, Madison Lane Chavis, Hannah Brooklyn Fowler, Marshall Pearson, Charlie Pearson, Kameron Pearson and Kennedy Pearson.

Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 12th at Tellico Baptist Cemetery. Rev. Steve Reeves will officiate.

The family will receive friends from 12:30-1:30 p.m., prior to the service at Macon Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Macon Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses, PO Box 1175, Franklin, NC 28744.
