Dr. James Eugene Clark, Jr., 76, of Franklin, formerly of Clearwater, FL, passed away Monday, July 6, 2015.

Born in Hopewell, VA, he was the son of the late James Eugene Clark, Sr. and Helen Leigh Clark. James graduated from Pharmacy School at the University of Florida and received his DDS degree from Emory University. He practiced dentistry in Clearwater, FL. James attended Iotla Baptist Church.

He is survived by three sons, Scott Kicker of the Philippines, Robert Converse of Idaho and Chris Getchell of California; sister, Patricia Hogan of Ft. Myers, FL; eight grandchildren, Edgar, Allen, Billy Ray, Tyler G., T.C., Clay, Gabriel and Kaylyn; one niece, Kathy and one nephew, Dill. James was called "Grandy" by all his grandchildren and was a father figure to many and was very influential in the lives he touched.

Funeral Service will be held Monday, July 13th at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Kris Estep will officiate. Burial will be in Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park in Clearwater, FL.

The family will receive friends from 6-7 PM, one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
