Obituary
James Marion Burdick, 68, of Franklin, passed away Wednesday, February 3, 2010.
Born in Miami, FL, he was the son of the late Clyde Reed Burdick and Lorita Hoffman Burdick. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Brian Burdick. He was a US Air Force Veteran. James enjoyed fishing and loved his grandchildren.
He is survived by two children, Leslie Burdick of Franklin and Laurie Childers of Black Foot, ID; brother, Clyde Reed Burdick and wife Janet of Pinehurst, NC and ten grandchildren.
Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 20, 2010 in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Vic Greene will officiate.
Memorial donations can be made to Angel Hospice General Fund, 170 Church Street, Franklin, NC 28734.
Macon Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
