Jack Patton, 87, of Franklin, passed away Tuesday, December 11, 2018.
Born in South Pittsburg, TN, he was the son of the late Maurice Victor Patton and Lillian Kyle Patton. In addition to his parents, Jack was preceded in death by his daughter, Amy Miltner; brothers, Gene Patton and Maurice "Pat" Patton; and sister, Minerva Patton Denton. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Franklin for 45 years and worked as a Landscape Architect for 48 years. Jack loved spending time with family and friends, hiking, and bird watching. He was a quiet, gentle man with a great sense of humor; he will be greatly missed.
Jack is survived by his wife of 63 years, Sally Fox Patton of Franklin; daughters, Jennifer Patton of Stone Mountain, GA and Annie Patton Burrell of Franklin; and several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2 pm, Saturday, January 5, 2019 in the Old Chapel of First Presbyterian Church of Franklin. Rev. Tempe Fussell and Rev. John Makinson will officiate.
