Obituary
Iris Raye, 62, of Murphy, passed away Sunday, January 27, 2008.
A native of Bradenton, Fl, she was the daughter of the late, Duke and Thelma Ruth Watts Peacock. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister, Vicki Cooper who died May 25, 2007. She was self employed as a painter.
Ms. Raye is survived by two sisters, Rita Raye of Murphy, and Susan Hansen of Franklin; two daughters, Holly Ganey and her husband Marcos of Murphy, Jaime Marie Stockton and her husband Bill of Murphy; one son, Anthony Welch of Otto; one granddaughter, Aron Cooper of Franklin; one uncle, Buddy Watts and his wife Joanie of Bradenton, FL. Several cousins, nieces, and nephews , Shirley Welch Husband Gomez children Ciera and Makayla, Bobby Welch, children Amber and Brittany, and great nephew Jeremiah of Brandenton Fla. Vicki Welch and Husband Rick, children Davey and Ana of Palmetto and nephews, Dale of Otto and Carlton and Ryan Cooper of Tampa FL also survive.
