Obituary
Irene Shields Bishop, 65, of Franklin, passed away Tuesday, November 27, 2007.
Born in Miami, FL, she was the daughter of the late Walter M. Shields and Florence Warden Shields. Irene graduated from Coral Gables High School; attended Miami-Dade Community College and graduated from SCC.
She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Ronald Bishop; a son, Kenneth Bishop and wife Kerry of Buford, GA; two daughters, Christene Kimsey and husband Vic and Shannon Garcia and husband Alberto all of Franklin; sister, Patricia Shields of Miami, FL; five grandchildren, Adam Kimsey, Ariana Kimsey, Makayla Gibbs, Elizabeth Bishop and William Bishop; and three nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, December 2, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 1:30-2:30 p.m. Sunday, prior to the service.
