Ina Pauline Hedden Carpenter, 91, of Franklin, passed away Wednesday, November 25, 2015.

Born in Macon Co, she was the daughter of the late John Hedden and Ruie Woods Hedden. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Elbert Carpenter and thirteen brothers and sisters. Ina was a member of Franklin Church of God.

She is survived by two step-children, Joyce Sanders and husband Derrell of Franklin and Gary Dean Carpenter and wife Laurie of Lula, GA; one sister, Allie Gibson; three grandchildren, Darren Sanders, Ashely Wiley and Andy Carpenter; two great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, November 29th in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Steve Reeves will officiate. Burial will be in Strain Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 1-2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Jimmy Hedden, Kim Hedden, Randy Hedden, Darren Sanders, Andy Carpenter and Marshall Woods. Honorary Pallbearers will be James Hedden and Gary Carpenter.

Macon Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
