Obituary
Ida Mabel Green, 73, of Franklin, entered into rest Tuesday, February 22, 2005.
A native of Macon County, she was the daughter of the late Earnest Benjamin and Alice Texie Dills Beck. She was a homemaker and member of the Cartoogechaye Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband of 56 years, Norman Green; three children, Norman Melvin Green and wife, Nancy of Carrollton, OH, Myra Jeanette Green Wesley of Canton, OH and Norma Darlean Green Addis and husband, Oscar of Carrollton, OH; three sisters, Vernia Mae Elkins and Henrietta Ammons both of Franklin, and Jane Jacobs of Orange County, CA; six grandchildren, Thomas Wesley, Benjamen Wesley, Abraham Wesley, Oscar Addis III, Jennifer Addis, and Matthew Addis and two great grandchildren, Benjamen Wesley and Jazmin Wesley.
Funeral Services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 23, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Robert Dryman will officiate. Burial will follow in Ohio.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m., two hours prior to the funeral.
Grandsons and Granddaughter will serve as Pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
