Hoyt Wilson "Ajax" Alexander, Age 80, lost his battle with cancer, August 4, 2013.
Born June 29, 1933, in College Park, GA to Leland and Bessie Alexander. He served in the Air Force for 13 years during the Korean War. He was a loving husband, father and friend. His passions in life were fishing, hunting, and being a devoted family man. He spent the majority of his life in Florida where his wife and him owned and operated several successful businesses and raised their family. He retired in North Carolina where he enjoyed doing the things he loved.
He is survived by his dedicated wife of 43 years, Nancy Jane Alexander, step sons: Daniel, Terry and Perry Atkinson and Kurt Knechtel, step daughters: Debbie Valdes and Nancy Muehl, son, Lee Alexander, daughter Deyonne Alexander, 16 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and brothers, Glen and Alan Alexander.
He was preceded in death by sister Jaquelin, step son John and grandson Perry.
