Obituary
Hilda Elizabeth Bell, 80, of Franklin, NC, entered into rest on Friday, February 17, 2006.
A native of Baltimore, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late John Hess and Mary Long Hess Spath. She was married to the late Alfred Bell, Sr. who died in 1999. She was a member of St. Peters Lutheran Church in Baltimore, Maryland.
She is survived by three children, Carol Buchheim and Alfred Bell, Jr. both of Pennsylvania and Sharon Archer of Franklin, NC; two brothers, John Hess, Jr. and Charles Spath, Jr. both of Baltimore, Maryland; three sisters, Doris Curnette, Marie Bragg and Jeanette Long all of Baltimore, Maryland; six grandchildren, Michelle Pasch, Michael Scott, Melissa Ligon, Todd Ortiz, Krista Bell and Juan Ramos; twelve great grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held in Baltimore, Maryland.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. Sunday, February 19, at Macon Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Macon County Humane Society, PO Box 81, Franklin, NC 28744 or the American Cancer Society, PO Box 1648, Franklin, NC 28744.
