Obituary
Henry Gustauv Sasse, 79, of Franklin, passed away on Sunday, September 28, 2014.
Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late William and Mina Sasse. He retired from the U.S. Navy's Military Sealift Command. Henry was a member of the American Legion Post 108 and he enjoyed model trains.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years, "Mickey" Hermina Mary Kipkowski Sasse; five children, Michael Sansone of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Cherisse Sansone of Franklin, Anthony Sansone of Jacksonville, FL, William Sasse of Huntsville, AL and Fred Sasse of St. Paul, MN; six grandchildren and one great grandchild.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Appalachian Animal Rescue Center (formerly known as Macon County Humane Society), 851 Lake Emory Road, Franklin, NC 28734.
