Obituary
Helen Hughes Snyder, 93, formerly of Franklin, NC, passed away December 29, 2011.
Born and raised in Franklin, she was the daughter of James Comodore Hughes and Temmy Lee Rochester Hughes. She was preceded in death by her husband William David Snyder who died in 2000. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by ten siblings. She was the youngest of eleven children. Helen moved back to Franklin in 2007, moving from Ft. Lauderdale where she lived since 1952. She loved making crafts, crocheting and reading.
She is survived by two sons, William Dallas Snyder of Goldsboro, NC and Larry David Snyder and wife Kelly Ann Snyder of Franklin; grandchildren, Alyssa Gail Trojan and husband Tracy and their son, Mathew of Hamburg, NJ, Larry James Snyder of San Clemente, CA, Kim Cherie Snyder of San Clemente, CA, Bill Denson and daughter Terra and other grandchildren; nephews, J.R. Ammons and wife Ethel, Howard McMeans and Kenneth McMeans; niece, Jessee Lee Brakefield, Fae Neadom, Loretta Moore and Mary Francis Cabe.
Burial was in Ft. Lauderdale, FL.
