Helen Sharp Romano, 76, of Franklin, NC, passed away Sunday, September 22, 2013.
Born in Manchester, CT, she was the daughter of the late Walter "Jim" Sharp and Helen Sankbiel Sharp. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Walter Sharp. Helen worked as a dental assistant for Dr. McGuire's office and manager of Curve's for several years. She was a member of the Women's Golf Club and Resurrection Lutheran Church.
She is survived by her husband, Raymond Romano; three children, Frank Dubiel and wife Esther of Indianapolis, IN, Walter Dubiel of West Palm Beach, FL and Linda Dubiel of Franklin; two brothers, Ken Sharp of Connecticut and William Sharp of Glendale, AZ; five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 26th at Resurrection Lutheran Church. Pastor John Brunner will officiate. Burial will be in the East Cemetery, Manchester, CT.
