Obituary
Helen Virginia Morrison, 96, of Englewood, Florida, passed away on Saturday, November 25, 2006 in Otto, NC.
Born in Lynchburg, VA, she was the daughter of the late Rossie Seppell Wood and Lillie Davis Wood. She was married to the late James Morrison who died in 1990. Helen was a member of the United Methodist Church, Englewood, FL and was a retired Protocol Officer for the U.S. State Dept.
She is survived by two daughters, Marie Kernekin and husband, Richard of Otto and Marilyn Joyce Drew of Maryland; one sister, Viola Porter of Richmond, VA; one brother, Robert Wood of Lynchburg, VA; 12 grandchildren; 34 great grandchildren; 21 great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 1648, Franklin, NC 28744.
Macon Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
