Obituary
Hazel Gibson McClure, 90, of Franklin, NC, passed away on Saturday, August 26, 2006.
A native of Macon County, she was the daughter of the late Ben Gibson and Katherine Tilson Gibson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Edward McClure and four brothers, Raleigh, Bert, Cletis and Bill. She was a member of Goldmine Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Ralph McClure; two daughters, Linda Dodgins of Franklin, NC and Lucille Johnson of Candler, NC; five grandchildren; ten great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, August 27, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Gene Hawkins and Rev. Bill Wooten will officiate. Burial will be in the Mount Moriah Cemetery (Goldmine Community).
The family will receive friends from 2-3 p.m. Sunday, August 27, at Macon Funeral Home.
