Obituary
Hazel Irene Smith Mastin, 88, of Franklin, passed away Sunday, August 26, 2007.
Born in Ludowici, GA, she was the daughter of the late Sheldon Osgood Smith and Minnie Lee Todd Smith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Mastin who died December 9, 2000; a grandson Richard Hall, Jr. who died in 2006 and sisters, Lavania "Lee" Link and Barbara Jean Smith. Hazel was a member of South Macon Baptist Church.
She is survived by a daughter, Judy Hall and husband Richard of Franklin; two sons, Rev. James Mastin and wife Nelda of Jefferson, GA and Rev. Kenneth Mastin and wife Patricia of Hoschton, GA; sister, Mary Rita Sullivan and husband Jim of Franklin; nine grandchildren; and sixteen great grandchildren.
Funeral Service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, August 29, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Ronnie Owens will officiate. Burial will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 12:00-2:00 p.m. Wednesday, prior to the service at Macon Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be grandsons: James Mastin, Jr., Michael Rivera, David Rapson, Al Blanton, Ernie Bailey and Mike Ashby.
