Hattie Mae Collier Conley, 85, of Franklin, entered into rest on Sunday, August 28, 2005.
A native of Macon County, she was the daughter of the late Oscar Collier and Josephine Anderson Collier. She was married to the late Joseph L. Conley who died in 1982 and was preceded in death by two brothers, Rufus and Bill Collier and half brother, Marvin Greenwood. She was a member of Maidens Chapel United Methodist Church and was the founder of Full Gospel Outreach Services.
She is survived by five children, Josephine Conley Grant and husband Melvin of Clayton, GA, Paul Conley of Franklin, Sallie Conley Manus and husband Kenneth of Young Harris, GA, Turner Conley, Sr. and wife Connie of Franklin and David Conley, Sr. of Franklin; 13 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 31, at Maidens Chapel United Methodist Church. Rev. Steve Reeves and Rev. Robert Dryman will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, August 30, at Macon Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Toby Gene Bateman, Jr., Adam Conley, David Conley, Jr., Daniel Conley, Derek Conley and Dewayne Smith.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Jerry Collier, Jimmy Collier, Chris Talley and Dustin Bayles.
Macon Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
