Harry Richard Conley, 65, of Garner, NC passed away Saturday, December 16, 2017.

Born in Macon County, he was the son of the late Harry Edwin Conley and Mary Patricia Holland Conley. Harry was retired from the NCDOT; was an avid gun and knife collector and was of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by a brother, Bruce Conley (Sherry) of Franklin; a sister, Rebecca DeMore (Richard) of Demorest, GA;a nephew, Justin K. Conley of Charlotte, NC and many close friends.

Funeral Service will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, December 20 in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Steve Reeves and Rev. Brandon Breedlove will officiate. Burial will be in the Carson Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 2-3 p.m. Wednesday, prior to the service at Macon Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Pete Shope, Fred Shope, Junior Patton, Randy Tallent, Dean Austin Dodge, Calvin Conley, Dennis Conley, Mike Breedlove and Brian Sellers. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jim Cunningham and members of the NCDOT Geo Tech Division.
