Obituary
Harrold "Doug" Black Sr., 70, of Franklin, NC, passed away on Tuesday, June 13, 2017.
Born in Lakeland, FL, he was the son of the late Harrold A Black and Elizabeth Thomson Krieger. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Harrold Douglas Black, Jr. and a sister, Donna Doster. Doug was a member of the Army National Guard.
He is survived by two children, Linda Black of Canal Winchester, OH and Brian Black of Franklin; three sisters, Teresa Sawyer of Gig Harbor, WA, Barbara Pinner of Haines City, FL and René Chiovitti of Rhode Island and three grandchildren, Nicholas, Mikayla and Isabella Black.
No Services are planned.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Children's Cancer Research.
