Harold Thomas Wilson, 89, of Sylva, formerly of Franklin, entered into rest on Monday, April 10, 2006.

A native of Habersham County, GA, he was the son of the late Thomas J. Wilson and Arrie Wilbanks Wilson. He was married to the late Geneva Moss Wilson who died in 2004 and was preceded in death by a brother Ervin H. Wilson. Harold was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII and was former owner of West Florist for 25 years. He was a member of East Sylva Baptist Church.

He is survived by a sister, Stella Hardman of Charlotte, NC; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 13, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Charles Stevens and Rev. Tommy James will officiate. Burial will be in the Rush Cemetery with military graveside rites conducted by the VFW Post 7339 and the American Legion Post 108.

The family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m. Thursday, prior to the service at Macon Funeral Home.

Macon Funeral Home is charge of the arrangements.
