Obituary
Harold Stuart Lunsik, 75 of Waynesville, NC, passed away on Thursday, March 17, 2022.
Harold was born in Cook IL, to the late Max Lunsik and Ruth Kahn Lunsik. Harold was a Vietnam veteran and a firearm instructor. He was a member of Mountain Synagogue, Land of the Sky Chorus in Buncombe County and enjoyed golfing and bowling.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Phyllis Lunsik; children Stephanie Lunsik of Waynesville, NC and Matthew Lunsik of Johnson City, TN; and brother Alan Lunsik of Skokie, IL; grandson, Dylan Lunsik of Waynesville, NC; niece Faith Lunsik-Engler (Ralph); nephew, Mark Lunsik (Cheryl); and great nephew, Luke Engler.
A graveside service will be held at Woodlawn Cemetery on Sunday, March 20, 2022, at 11 am.
Rabbi Yosi Knight will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Land of the Sky Chorus, Mountain Synagogue or Sarges Animal Rescue Foundation, PO Box 854, Waynesville 28786.
