Hallie Donaldson Johnson, 76, of Franklin, passed away Wednesday, March 17, 2010.

Born in Macon Co., she was the daughter of the late Carl Donaldson and Lela Tallent Donaldson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Eileen Johnson, two brothers, Haskal Donaldson and Robert Donaldson; a sister, Lola Donaldson; grandson, Justin Johnson and great granddaughter, Gracie Scott. Hallie was a homemaker and member of Black Mountain Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband of 55 years, T.A. Johnson; five children, Debra Scott and husband Tony of Sylva, Carolyn Wiggins and husband Ted of Bryson City, Cathy Stouffer of Gastonia, Glenn Johnson of Sylva and Tommy Joe Johnson and wife Cindy of Georgia; a sister, Eva Mae Smith of Georgia; a brother, Boyd Donaldson of Georgia; eleven grandchildren; ten great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 21, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. David Lee Williams will officiate. Burial will be in the Union United Methodist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 7-9:00 p.m. Saturday, March 20, at Macon Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Steven Franklin, Michael Franklin, Glenn Johnson, Joshua Stouffer, Daniel Scott and Tony Scott.
