Obituary
H. Jean Botting Guy, 75, of Franklin, passed away Sunday, May 13, 2007.
A native of Boston, Mass. she was the daughter of the late Edward Botting and Bessie Hansen Botting. She was married to the late John Davis Guy who died May 7, 2007. Helen was the owner of Shady Lady Lamps; was a talented artist, and enjoyed quilting and crafts. She attended Holly Springs Baptist Church.
She is survived by four children, Brenda Ferrara and husband, Austin, John E. Guy and wife Debra Grant all of Franklin, Donna Banks and husband Stephen of Dunedin, FL, Julie Suemicht and husband, Brian of Greenbush, WI; nine grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
A Joint Memorial Service will be held for H. Jean and her husband John on Saturday, May 19, at 11 a.m. at Bethel United Methodist Church. Rev. Randy Campbell will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Angel Hospice Foundation, PO Box 815, Franklin, NC 28744 or Care Connections Adult Day Care, 125 Hyatt Road, Franklin, NC 28734.
