Gregory Paul Ray, 67, of Franklin, passed away on Monday, March 28, 2021.

Born in Rabun County, GA, he was the son of the late Robert Paul and Edith Dalton Ray. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a niece, Marianna Ray. Greg was a truck driver and enjoyed working on restoring his 1956 Chevrolet Pickup.

Greg is survived by his daughter, Ashley Ray of Santa Monica, CA; and three brothers, Danny Ray of Gainesville, GA, Bruce Ray of Blue Ridge, GA and Ronnie Ray of Snellville, GA. He has one niece, Merideth Ray; and two nephews, Josh Ray and Aaron Ray; and numerous cousins also surviving.

A Celebration of Life will be Monday, April 5, 2021 at 3pm in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Steve Reeves will officiate.

The family will receive friends from 2pm till 3pm, one hour prior to the service at Macon Funeral Home.
