Obituary
Grace Gardiner Jorgensen, 92, of Otto, NC, passed away Wednesday, September 19, 2018.
Born in Savannah, GA she was the daughter of the late John Gardiner and Lucille Suck Gardiner. She was also preceded in death by her brother, John Gardiner Jr. Grace was a piano teacher, enjoyed gardening, and was a devoted follower of Christ.
She is survived by her children, Brenda Thomas, of Venice, FL, Andrew Jorgensen, of Wilmington, NC, and Leslie Gruen, of Colorado Springs, CO; brother, William Gardiner, of Orlando, FL; sister, Helen Werba, of Orlando, FL; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 pm, Sunday, September 23 at Asbury United Methodist Church Cemetery with a service to follow in Asbury Methodist Church. Pastor Billy Hires will officiate.
Macon Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
