Obituary
Gordon Lowell Ledford, 98, of Franklin, passed away Wednesday, September 5, 2018.
Born in Macon County, he was preceded in death by his parents William Ransom Ledford and Elsie Mae Cabe Ledford; wife, Ella Mae (2002); son, Ronnie (2016); brothers, Kenneth and Herrell and sister, Bernice Buchanan. Gordon was a member of Union United Methodist Church.
He is survived by two sons, Clinton Ledford of Otto and Phil Ledford (Bess) of Sunset Beach, NC; daughters-in-law, Susie Ledford and Brenda Ledford; grandchildren, Breanna Pratt (Greg), Casey Shope (Jamie), Tiffany Hummel (Stephen), Alice Berry (Travis) and Monroe Henson; great grandchildren, Starlynn and Farrah Pratt, George and James Berry, Perry Grace Shope and Jonah Henson.
Funeral Service will be held 3 p.m. Sunday, September 9, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Don Moffitt will officiate. Burial will be in the Union United Methodist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1:00-3:00 p.m. prior to the service.
Pallbearers will be Stephen Hummel, Greg Pratt, Travis Berry, Jamie Shope, Johnny Teem and Josh Teem.
