Gladys Lee Franklin Dawkins, 96, of Franklin, passed away Saturday, October 4, 2014.

Born in Andalusia, Alabama, she was the daughter of the late Douglas Franklin and Irene Butler Franklin. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Dennis Dawkins and three brothers, Douglas, Donald and Horace.

She is survived by four children, Jim Dawkins of Franklin, Alice Dawkins Keister of Nashville, TN, Donna Dawkins Merlino of West Palm Beach, FL and Leba Dawkins of Cleveland, TN; sister, Ruth Franklin Dewrell of Andalusia, AL; ten grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and a sister-in-law, Dorothy Franklin of Dozier, AL.

A Memorial Service will be held in Andalusia, AL.
