Obituary
Gertrude Ledford Green, 90, of Franklin, NC, entered into rest on Friday, February 10, 2006.
A native of Macon County, she was the daughter of the late Ed Ledford and Ida Mae Moffitt Ledford. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jeff Green who died in 1978,a sister, Stella Stamey and a brother, Ira Ledford. She was a member of Holly Springs Baptist Church.
She is survived by a sister, Ellie Sanders of Franklin; and a number of nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, February 14, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Lewis Smith will officiate. Burial will be in the Holly Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m. Tuesday, prior to the service.
Macon Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
