Geraldine Madaline Hardegree, 71, of Otto, passed away Sunday, December 15, 2013.

Born in Teaneck, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Jacob Rene Bergrab and Annette Kastorea Bergrab. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Julie Jackson and son, Edward Daniel Hardegree. Geraldine graduated from Miami Dade Community College with a degree in culinary arts and was the co-owner of Riverbend Estates Water System. Her family was always most important to her.

She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Ron Hardegree; six children, Rhonda Freeman and husband Steve of Miami, FL, Mike Hardegree and wife Pam of Hialeah, FL, Renee Maxwell and husband Frank of Franklin, Lee Hardegree of Otto, Gail Anderson and husband Greg of Lantana, TX and Chris Hardegree and wife Dawn of North Miami, FL; three brothers, Jim Bergrab of Miramar, FL, Steve Bergrab of Ohio and Robert Bergrab of Dunellin, FL; twenty one grandchildren, Melanie Herring, Justin Herring, Amanda Freeman, Danielle Freeman, Dylan Ortiz, Jason Jackson, Mickey Hardegree, Sheldon Hardegree, Danny Hardegree, Andrew Hanak, Joshua Hanak and Randall Hanak, Hunter Maxwell, Waylon Hardegree, Samantha Hardegree, Ashlyn Anderson, Kelleigh Anderson, Logan Hardegree, Shannon Maxwell, Brandon Harris and Courtney Harris; seven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, December 22nd at Coweeta Baptist Church. Rev. Davis Hooper will officiate.
