Obituary
Gerald David Norris, 49, of Franklin, passed away Monday, January 25, 2010 at a local nursing home.
Born in Macon Co, he was the son of the late Miller Stanley Norris and Patricia Taylor Norris. Gerald loved Bingo and all the activities at Britthaven. He was of the Methodist faith.
He is survived by his brother, Tony Lee Norris and wife Wanda of Otto; half brother, Brent James Shubert of Canon, GA; an aunt, Geraldine Norris Hunnicutt and an uncle, Buster "Buck" Hunnicutt of Otto; two nieces; two nephews; two great nephews; a great niece and a number of cousins.
Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 28, at Asbury Methodist Church. Rev. Janet Greene and Rev. Frank Rodriguez will officiate.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
Memorial donations can be made to the Asbury Methodist Church Building Fund, C/O Margie Curtis, PO Box 113, Otto, NC 28763.
