Obituary
Georgiana Emly Daffer Correll, 89, of Franklin, passed away Friday, October 31, 2014.
Born in Somerset, IN, she was the daughter of the late Floyd Daffer and Pauline Myers Daffer. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Ed Correll and brother, Darold Daffer. Georgiana loved to paint and read. She was a member of First Christian Church.
She is survived by four children, Stanley Robert Correll and wife Cassandra of Chandler, AZ, Nancy J. Rairdon and husband William of Reynolds, GA, Marcia Anne Reid and husband Richard of Franklin and Laura Hobbs and husband Timothy of Yellville, AR; seven grandchildren, Brandon Reid, Rian Rairdon Troyer, Aliana Correll, Colon Correll, Tyler Hobbs, Christopher Hobbs and Mackenzie Hobbs; seven great grandchildren and one nephew.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 4th in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Lewis Smith will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Four Seasons Hospice, Four Seasons Development Office 571 South Allen Road Flat Rock, NC 28731.
Macon Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
