Obituary
George L. McGahagin, 89, of Franklin, passed away Sunday, July 23, 2017.
Born in Wauchula, FL, he was the son of the late James Z. McGahagin and Lilly Bessie Johnson McGahagin. George was a U.S. Navy and Air Force veteran serving during WWII; lifetime member of the VFW and American Legion Post 108 and retired from USPS.
He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Annie Ruth Tuttle McGahagin; two daughters, Gwendolyn K. Wood and Sharon R. McGahagin both of Plano, TX and a granddaughter, Delaney Wood-Van Vranken of Austin, TX.
No Services are planned.
