Gennell "Nell" McConnell Fouts, 82, Franklin, passed away Wednesday, March 6, 2013.
Born in Macon Co, she was the daughter of the late Harley Otis McConnell and Viola DeHart McConnell. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Fouts and brothers, Wade and Wayne McConnell and a sister, Dovie McConnell. Nell was a good cook and enjoyed spending time with and talking to her family and friends. She was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.
She is survived by a son, Mike Fouts and wife Debbie of Franklin; brother, Harley McConnell of Franklin; sister, Betty McConnell of Franklin; half-sister, Virgie Southard; granddaughter, Danyel Crabtree and husband Samuel; several nieces and nephews and great-niece and nephew, Morgan and Josh Mason and many other great nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, March 9th in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Eddie Stillwell and Rev. Bill Faulkner will officiate. Burial will be in Fouts Cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Jessie Odell, Junior McConnell, Aaron Bowman, Eric Hall, Derek Conley and Scott Mason.
Memorial donations can be made to Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.
