Obituary
Genevieve M. "Genny" Lamb, 73, of Franklin, NC, passed away on Thursday, September 14, 2006.
A native of Newark, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Robert Hodgkinson and Mary Howarth Hodgkinson. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Buddy Wallace. Genny was a member of South Macon Baptist Church, was an avid crosssticher and loved crafts. She retired from Britthaven Nursing Home where she worked as a nurse.
She is survived by her husband of 24 years, William Dobson Lamb, Jr.; daughter, Mary Ann Huntsinger of Daytona, FL; sons, Bob Wallace of Daytona, FL, Tom Wallace of Clewiston, FL, Hugh Wallace of Franklin, NC and Andrew Wallace of New Jersey; sisters, Marian Racette and Frankie Banks both of Florida and Mildred Wolfe of California and one grandson.
Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, September 18, at South Macon Baptist Church. Rev. Ronnie Owens will officiate.
The family will receive friends from 1:30-2:00 p.m. Monday, at the church.
Macon Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
