Obituary
Gene McNutt Patton, 89, of Franklin, NC, passed away Sunday, January 24, 2016.
Born in South Pittsburg, TN, he was the son of the late Maurice Victor and Lillian Kyle Patton. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Maurice Kyle Patton; a brother, Maurice "Pat" Patton and one sister, Minerva Patton Denton. Gene was a member of Oak Dale Baptist Church. Gene was also a US Navy veteran having served in WWII and the Korean War.
He is survived by three children, Gena Patton Dodd of Stockport, England, Pam Patton Gibson of Leesburg, FL, George Patton of Clearwater, FL; one brother, Jack Patton of Franklin, NC.
Funeral Service will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, February 10, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Guy Duvall will officiate.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 9, at Macon Funeral Home.
Macon Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
