Obituary
Gene Lynn, 85, of Franklin, passed away Wednesday, January 23, 2019.
Born in St. Louis, MO, he was the son of the late Norval Henry Lynn and Edna Camilla Fuller Lynn. In addition to his parents, Gene was preceded in death by siblings, Kendall Lynn, Doris Albers, and Grant Lynn. He was a Sgt. First Class in the US Army serving in Japan during the Korean War. He was a retired school teacher and devoted Christian.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Beverly Johnson Lynn; children, Kristina Moe (Justin), Bruce Lynn (Amy), and Tim Lynn (Jennifer); sister, Judy Pacheco of MI; brother, Dan Lynn (Donna) of FL; two treasured sisters-in-law, Grace Johnson of Franklin and Kate Lynn of MI; five grandchildren, Summer, Randy, Eliza, Molly, and Brody; and several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2 pm, Saturday, January 26 at Bethel United Methodist Church. Rev. Bradley Lisk will officiate.
