Obituary
Gary Ervin Welch, 64, of Franklin, passed away on Friday, June 3, 2011.
Born in Macon County, he was the son of Claude Welch and the late Christine Huggins Welch. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Claudia Griffith. Gary was a U.S. Army veteran.
In addition to his father, he is survived by three children, Andy Welch of Murphy, Nora Lynn Voce of Washington, DC and Christopher Welch of Colorado; two brothers, Dale and Ben of Franklin and a sister, Claudine McCrakin of Franklin; six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A Private Service will be held at a later date.
Macon Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
