Obituary
Gary Lee Curtis, 78, of Franklin, passed away, Saturday, August 11, 2012.
Born on October 12, 1933 in Jamestown, NY, he was the son of the late Richard Curtis and Lucille Campbell Curtis. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Gail Curtis, who died December 1, 2010. Gary honorably served in the US Navy from 1950 to 1954. He retired from the Buffalo Police Department in 1982 after 20 years at the old Michigan Avenue Station. Gary relocated to Sebring, FL and later, Franklin, NC.
He is survived by two daughters, Kelly Dodson of Buffalo, NY and Julie Kobel and husband Donald of Lancaster, NY; step-daughter, Kathleen Jack and husband Greg of Belleville, WI and step-son, David Keicher of Belleville, WI and a grandson, Dana Dodson of St. Louis, MO.
