Obituary
Gary Eugene Collett, 57, of Sylva, passed away Tuesday, October 9, 2012.
Born in Murphy, he was the son of Gene Collett and Bennie Cloer Collett. Gary was former Division Supervisor for Pepsico (Taco Bell). and worked as a technician for U.S. Clean. He was an actor in the 1980's and had roles in several popular movies and TV series.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by brother, Ron Collett and wife Tori of Raleigh; three nieces, Vanessa, Naomi and Chelsea and three great-nephews, Ellijah, Jude and Sloan.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 13th, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Bob Crawford will officiate.
Macon Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
