Obituary

Gaetana Tricomi Saladino, 96, of Franklin, passed away January 20, 2007 in Kissimmee, FL.

A native of Manhattan, NY, she was the daughter of Agatino Tricomi and Concetta Ravalli Tricomi. She was preceded in death by her husband, Onofrio Saladino who died in 1996, a brother, Edward Tricomi, and a sister Mary Perello. Mrs. Saladino was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church; was a seamstress by trade and was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.

She is survived by five children, Peter Saladino of Melbourne, FL, Grace Tomasi of NY, Connie Zwiercan of Kissimmee, FL, Loretta Hastings of Franklin, and Dolores McBride of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; three sisters, Pauline Barletta, and Millie Ardilino, both of NY, and Lena Soraci of CA; fifteen grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday January 27, at the St. Francis Catholic Church. Father Matthew Kauth will officiate. Burial will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday, January 26, at Macon Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be David Zwiercan, Doug Hastings, Bill McBride, Joseph Tomasi, Michael Peak, and Craig Hastings.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Good Samaritan Health Care Center's "Butterfly Garden", 1500 South Gate Drive, Kissimmee, FL 34746 or Children International, PO Box 219055, Kansas City, MO 64121.
