Obituary
G. Howard Reece, 76, of Townville, SC, formerly of Franklin, NC, entered into rest on Sunday, January 15, 2006.
A native of Macon County, he was the son of the late George W. Reece and Gwendolyn Green Reece. He was a US Marine Corp veteran and was the owner and founder of Reeco's Tire Shop in Townville, SC. He was a member of Oakwood Baptist Church in Anderson, SC.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Olivia Sanders Reece; three children, Joey Reece and Scottie Reece both of Anderson, SC and Karen Bannister of Gainesville, GA; one sister, Jewel Roper of Franklin, NC; three grandchildren; one step granddaughter and a number of nieces and nephews.
Graveside Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, January 17, at Prentiss Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Benny Bagwell will officiate.
Memorial donations may be made to the Prentiss Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, C/O Faye Wilson, 605 Middle Skeenah Road, Franklin, NC 28734.
