Obituary
Fredrica M. Shamp, 67, of Franklin, passed away Tuesday, July 24, 2008.
A native of Polk County, FL, and a resident of Franklin, NC since 2002, she was the daughter of Fredrick E. Murphy and Lela Rushing Murphy of Lakeland, FL. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Lisa K. Wetzel. Freddie was a school teacher for 32 years in Polk Co. FL.
She is survived by her loving husband of 30 years, Donald H. Shamp; daughter, Leslea A. Shamp and son, John W. Shamp.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date in Auburndale, FL.
Memorial donations can be made to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 1648, Franklin, NC 28744.
Macon Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
