Freda Stafflebach Tabor, 72, of Franklin, passed away Monday, October 22, 2007.

Born in Jackson Co., NC, she was the daughter of the late James Stafflebach and Jerdie Leora Henry Stafflebach. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carroll Tabor who died in 1994 and siblings, David Harold Stafflebach, Jerdie Fern Stafflebach, Felix Francis Stafflebach, James Leonard Stafflebach, Jr. and Jack Henry Stafflebach. She was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church, and very active in geneology.

She is survived by one son, Michael Spence of Lake Mary, FL; three step-children
Steve Tabor of Franklin, NC, Michael Tabor of Pendergrass, GA and Thomas
Spence, Jr. of New Castle, VA; siblings, Mike "Butch" Stafflebach of Rogersville, TN; Pat Robinson of Abbyville, SC, Linda Harris of Woonsocket, RI, and Mary Jo Clemets of Kissimmee, FL; 14 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, October 26, 2007, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Steve Reeves will officiate. Burial will be in the Tabor Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m Thursday, October 25th at Macon Funeral Home.
