Franklin Pike Heath, 85, of Franklin, passed away Sunday, March 11, 2012.
Born in St. Petersburg, FL, he was the son of the late Cotto L. Heath and Margaret Schreiber Heath. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two sisters, Rose Marie Heath and Hilma Kassel. Franklin was a retired US Army veteran and served in the Navy and Air Force. He loved boats, motorcycles and cars. He was a member and head usher at Franklin Truth Church.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Doris Heath; son, Franklin Heath Jr. of Ft. Walton Beach, FL; two grandchildren, Mandy Heath and Dillon Heath and one great grandson, Braedan Heath.
A Memorial Service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Monday, March 19th at Franklin Truth Church. Pastor Jason Watts will officiate. Military rites will be conducted by VFW Post 7339 and American Legion Post 108.
